He wanted to ask her to marry him in an original way

Claudia Schiffer’s husband has revealed that he proposed to the supermodel using a painting.
Matthew Vaughn, 36, says he wanted to pop the question in a novel way.
‘I commissioned one of my favourite artists, a guy called Ed Ruscha, to do a painting saying, "Marry me”,’ the Stardust director explains.
‘Originally, I was just thinking of putting it on the wall and saying, “Hi, I got this painting. What do you think?” But that could have been a real disaster as she could have said, “Oh, it’s lovely” and then sat down without getting it.’
But she did get it. Claudia, 37, replied with her own artwork.
‘I gave it to Claudia and, luckily, I got a painting back saying, “Yes”,’ Mathew tells the Daily Mirror.
The pair are now mum and dad to Caspar, 4, and Clementine, 2.
‘I met Claudia thinking we could be friends and then it blossomed into something else,' says Matthew. 'She is such a sweet girl – she has everything. There is nothing I don’t like about her.’
