Debbie Harry considering adoption

But she doesn't need a man

She may be 62, but Debbie Harry has revealed she's considering adoption.

The Blondie singer is now too old to have children naturally, but is thinking about opening her home to a disadvantaged child.

'Adoption is something I've always considered, but I'd like to be a little bit more of a homebody first,' she says.

'Sometimes I regret not having children, but sometimes I'm glad. I suppose there will come a time when I really regret it, but I don't know if I was especially well suited to motherhood anyway.'

And rebel Debbie insists she isn't interested in settling down with a man because she enjoys her freedom.

'Marriage is just a business arrangement really,' she tells the Sunday Times Culture.

'I was in love millions of times in my youth - or at least twice - and I always felt that being independent was really important for me, and somehow the two didn't meet.'
