Victoria Beckham: I’m not trying to be Angelina Jolie

Posh says she's no Hollywood star

Victoria Beckham says she has no intention of schmoozing with Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie.

Posh and Becks moved to the States earlier this year but they're not spending their time partying with A-Listers.

‘I think the media have put a lot of pressure on that subject,’ she says.

‘And that is nothing we’ve ever claimed to want from America. We’re here because we love it.

‘There are so many fantastic celebrities here in America. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, they’re much more interesting than us. We would never kid ourselves into thinking we were them. We’re not. We’re different.’

Newspaper reports have suggested the Beckhams are lonely in LA but, Victoria, 33, says she’s chuffed to bits with how her life is panning out.

‘’We have lots of great friends here,’ she tells Glamour.

‘They have been so supportive of everything we do. Not just with the fragrance but with my clothing line and with my sunglasses – it’s great. We’re very lucky.’
