Spice Girls sign £5m deal with Victoria's Secret

US lingerie giant will sell the group’s new album in their stores

The Spice Girls have signed a £5m deal with Victoria's Secret to sell their new album in their American stores.

The lingerie chain will stock the 15-track Greatest Hits record and a special limited-edition box set.

‘It's an unbelievably great opportunity for all involved,’ an insider says. ‘We're just so excited about it.

‘The Spice Girls are icons all over the world and we're delighted to have them on board.’

The Spices – Emma Bunton, 31, Mel B, 32, Mel C, Victoria Beckham, both 33, and Geri Halliwell, 35 - will also be playing an intimate pre-tour gig at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in LA.

And curvy Mel B is overjoyed with the deal.

‘They do great bras, and every girl wears a bra,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘And they should - at some point in their life. Unless they don't need to wear one.’
