Singer says worst part of battling breast cancer was losing her hair

Kylie Minogue never complained during her gruelling treatment for breast cancer but admits the worst part for her was losing her hair.

‘When you are stripped of everything, and you have to grow your eyelashes back, grow your hair back, it’s just astonishing,' she says.

‘It’s hard to express what I’ve learnt from that, but a deep psychological and emotional shift has obviously taken place.’

Kylie, 39 - who's now sporting a blonde Posh-a-like bob - says that physically she's not the woman she once was, but she's determined not to dwell on her imperfections.

‘My body is not what it used to be,’ she tells Glamour magazine.

‘But it’s the body I’m in. What I believed before my illness has only been enhanced since, and that’s that beauty comes from within.’

Kylie's new single 2 Hearts is released in the UK on 12 November.
