Heartthrob reckons booze gave him confidence

Ladies' man George Clooney says alcohol is an essential element when romancing women.
The Hollywood hunk, 46, insists he was the shy, bumbling type before booze gave him confidence to woo pretty girls.
‘I was very awkward with the opposite sex when I was younger,’ George tells the Daily Star.
‘I think every kid is for a long period of time. The only time it changes is when alcohol comes into play, that’s what happened with me.
‘Alcohol helps a lot with women, it smoothes things over.’
You can ply us with champagne anytime you want, George.
