SEE VIDEO Britney Spears fingerprinted at LA police station

She’s faces hit-and-run charge

Britney Spears has reported to an LA police station over an alleged hit-and-run in a San Fernando Valley car park.

The troubled singer, 25, spent 45 minutes being fingerprinted and photographed.

Britney is reported to have driven into another vehicle as she tried to park on 6 August. Paparazzi photographed her driving away from the incident after checking her own car for damage.

The singer’s due in court on 25 October to answer charges of a hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid California driver's licence.

She could face a jail sentence.
