The X Factor supremo treats himself to a couple of birthday motors

Simon Cowell has treated himself to a couple of cars for birthday – spending £1m on the flashy motors in just one week.
The X Factor judge turned 48 on 7 October and decided to celebrate on both sides of the Atlantic.
To zip around LA, he paid £750,000 for a Bugatti Veyron, the world’s most expensive street-legal car with a top speed of 253mph.
Simon - who has an estimated fortune of £100m - also splashed out on a £400,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé from an exclusive London dealership.
‘He wasn’t worried about spending more than £1m in a week – in fact he enjoyed it,’ a pal tells the Sun. ‘It was his birthday, after all.
‘He likes to replace his cars regularly. Unless it’s a classic, he doesn’t like to have a car without an up-to-date number plate.
‘He loves his cars – they’re one of his biggest passions. And only the best is good enough.’
