Coronation Street star had her first child at 18
Monday, 15 October 2007
It's hard to believe that Kym Marsh is mum to David, 12, and Emily, 9, because she looks far younger than 30.
But the Coronation Street actress, who's now married to former EastEnders star Jack Ryder, had her son when she was in her teens.
'Technically, I could be a grandmother at 35 – that’s frightening,' says Kym.
'I hadn’t planned to be a mum at 18. And if my kids told me they wanted to have their own children at that age, I would tell them what a bad idea it is.'
Kym doesn't want to be hypocrite so would be supportive if David fathered a child in a few years, but she wouldn't advise him to do so.
'It’s even more scary because I definitely want another child of my own,' she tells Sunday magazine.
'It’s been almost 10 years since I last gave birth and I’m sure a lot has changed.'
