The Pearl Harbor star, 29, has been seen getting cosy with the 19-year-old singer at the Pink Elephant nightclub in Manhattan.
Josh and Rihanna are said to have hit it off right away.
‘They were dancing, drinking Dom Perignon and making out at the table,’ says a fellow clubber.
Rihanna was in New York for a performance at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square.
'[Josh] walked in and made a bee line straight to her table,' said the source.
