Heather Mills is reportedly going to have a hip op.
The former model, 39, is said to be in ‘absolute agony’ after a metal plate in her pelvis broke.
‘It separated after a screw came out,’ a friend tells the Daily Mirror.
‘Two weeks ago the joint moved and is out of line - it's not stable. She could face a serious operation.’
Heather had the plate fitted after she was hit by a police motorbike in 1993.
The former glamour model also suffered crushed ribs, a punctured lung and had to have her left leg amputated below the knee.
The op could put her out of action for 6 months.
