Singer's record company take action against popular blogger

Britney Spears' record label has filed a lawsuit against the owner of PerezHilton.com after tracks from the pop babe’s upcoming album were made available on the US gossip website.
The singer's album is not due out until later this month and Zomba Recordings have accused website owner Perez Hilton (real name Mario Lavandeira) of illegally obtaining and posting 10 pieces of unreleased material.
‘The unauthourised dissemination of recordings is a serious violation of copyright law,’ Zomba say in a statement.
‘In addition, posting demos and unfinished songs as if they were final versions is grossly unfair to the artist and misleading to the public.’
Brit's album will now be realised early, on 30 October.
The suit seeks unspecified payment for damages and a court order barring further copyright infringement by the site.
