Former boy-band star more than happy to reunite
Thursday, 11 October 2007
Shane Lynch has revealed that he'd jump at the chance of a Boyzone reunion.
Rumours have been circulating that the guys, who broke up in 2000, have been inspired by Take That and The Spice Girls to reform.
'I can't speak for the rest of the lads but it's something I'd love to do,' Shane admits. 'If the opportunity comes up in the future then it might be good.'
Shane, 31, is under no illusion about his role in the band with Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy.
'I was a left-winger, make-up-the-numbers kind of fella and I don't mind that,' he tells Metro. 'You've got to understand your role in any job.
'Lead singers are lead singers and backing vocalists are backing vocalists.'
