David Beckham’s dad speaks out after heart attack

Ted says his kids have been fantastic

Ted Beckham has spoken out for the first time since his heart attack – and has praised his 3 children for their support.

The 59-year-old - who suffered a near fatal cardiac arrest last month – says his family were an enormous comfort to him while he stayed in hospital.

‘All three of my children, David, Lynne and Joanne have been a tower of strength,’ he tells the Sun.

‘They have helped me get through this along with the doctors and nurses. I owe a lot to all of them.’

And David, 32 – who flew back to the UK from LA to be by his dad’s side – is over the moon about his good recovery and is reportedly planning on buying him a house in LA so he can be nearer to him.

Victoria is also doing her bit and is said to be visiting Ted at his home in Chingford, East London, after flying back from Paris with 2-year-old son Cruz.
