Helen Mirren: Young men just want to get in your knickers

Dame says guys start to improve at 25

Dame Helen Mirren says she's not the least bit interested in toy boys.

'I basically loathe all young men,' she declares. 'They start getting better when they're 25.'

Of course, the Oscar-winning actress, 62, is happily married to Taylor Hackford so is in no need of any young hunks.

But she recalls the experience of dating men when she was a teenager as 'abusive'.

'They were creeps, absolute creeps,' Helen tells Harper's Bazaar.

'They just wanted to get in your knickers and didn't care about your feelings at all and I wasn't ready for that. I arrived in London very green.

'There were a lot of them. Just creepy boys treating you like a lump of meat and not bothering to talk to you. But young men are horrible.'
