Howard Donald has revealed he’s often too shy to talk in interviews – and admits the idea of going up on stage alone terrifies him.
The Take That star says he’s full of admiration for former bandmate Robbie Williams, but admits he could never go it alone.
‘I could never do what Rob has done and get up there on stage by myself,’ he tells The Sun.
‘I’d be terrified. I’m nervous enough as it is with the other lads around me. The idea of going solo fills me with dread.’
But despite his nerves Howard, 39, says being in a boy band is perfect for him.
‘I need to be part of a band,’ he says. ‘It suits me perfectly.
‘I sometimes worry I should be doing more of the talking when we do interviews, but I’m a bit shy.’
