Gavin Henson: I watched Charlotte Church giving birth

Rugby star was there for arrival of his daughter

Gavin Henson has revealed that he was with Charlotte Church as she gave birth - says he would recommend it to any man as it was an amazing experience.

The rugby star – who became a dad to baby Ruby last week – says: 'The midwife called me when the baby was just coming out and to see that was amazing.'

The smitten 25-year-old says he feels much closer to his daughter and Charlotte for being a part of it.

'I had so much more respect and so much more love for Charlotte after what she'd just been through.

'You don't know what people are talking about unless you've been part of it.'
