Kate Moss’s mascara advert has been banned from TV and magazines - because no one could prove her eyelashes were real.
The supermodel, 33, showed off her fluttering lashes for Rimmel Magnif’Eyes mascara – which claims to give you 70 per cent more ‘lash lift’ than rival brands.
But 2 viewers complained Kate’s lengthy lashes didn’t look real – and because ad firm J Walter Thompson couldn’t prove them to be authentic, the Advertising Standards Authority banned the ad for being misleading.
