Sharon Osbourne says she's a 'glutton'

X Factor star explains why she's had so much surgery

Sharon Osbourne says she had extensive cosmetic surgery after having a gastric band fitted to control her weight.

'By the end of the 90s I had become seriously overweight and I had a gastric band fitted,' says Sharon, 54.

'A year later I'd lost 125lb - about 9st - and went from a dress size 22 down to a 10.

'It seemed like a miracle, but there are downsides. First, the huge amount of plastic surgery I needed to get rid of the skin that was hanging off me.

'I had my tummy tucked, legs lifted, arse lifted, breasts lifted, liposuction everywhere to get rid of the fat that wouldn't shift, and I had a face lift, including my neck,' she tells the Daily Mirror.

'The other downside was the acid reflux. It was agony and the food I'd just eaten would come back up. Sometimes food came out of my nose.'

In March this year Sharon had a new gastric band fitted at LA’s exclusive Cedars Sinai Hospital. This has stopped the reflux problem.

Yet despite going to such extreme lengths, the X Factor judge still has issues with food.

'Part of me hopes I'll find the power to eat properly and not need the band,' she says.

'The other part knows I'll go back to the same habits. I'm a f***ing glutton.'

You can’t say she’s not honest.
