Leona Lewis to buy dream home in LA

X Factor star wants to live in California

Leona Lewis is the latest celeb to cross the pond in a bid to conquer America – and now the singer says she wants to settle there.

The X Factor winner is promoting her debut album in both the UK and the States – and says she has fallen in love with the Californian sunshine.

‘My dream would be to live in California in the winter and here in the summer,’ she tells the Sunday Mirror.

‘I want to buy a place in Santa Monica. I love being by the beach.’

To make both her dreams come true the 22-year-old wants to buy 2 houses so she can also be near her boyfriend of 5 years.

‘I’m going to buy a house there first. And maybe one in London later.’

Leona's new single Bleeding Love is out on 29 October and her album is out a week later.
