Gangland show comes back to haunt the EastEnders hardman
Tuesday, 2 October 2007
Ross Kemp has had his £1million home attacked in a late-night gang raid.
The yobs shattered windows and damaged his front door in what is feared to be a revenge attack for Ross’s award-winning series Ross Kemp On Gangs.
'We know Mr Kemp exposed gangs in south London and around the world,' says a police source.
'We have not ruled out the possibility the attack on his home may have been connected with his TV series on crime gangs.'
Thankfully, Ross was out when the attack took place and discovered the evidence when he returned the following morning.
Police are currently treating the incident as attempted burglary.
'There is no evidence to suggest at this stage that a person or persons have gained access to the property, but inquiries are continuing,' a Scotland Yard source tells the Daily Star.
