Michael Douglas: what REALLY attracted me to Catherine Zeta-Jones

Golf and puzzles make their marriage strong

Michael Douglas has lifted the lid on what attracted him to Catherine Zeta-Jones – and it’s not what you might think.

'We share the same birthday. We both like golf. We both like to do the crossword puzzle. We both love the news,' says the two-time Oscar winner about his stunning 38-year-old wife.

Even more surprisingly, the Hollywood power couple don’t like watching films either.

'Neither of us is a big movie fan,' says Michael, 68. 'We like making movies but we do have to make an effort to watch them. We're big on kids’ movies, though.'

Happily, the one thing that keeps them both occupied – and happy - is their children, Dylan, 7, and Carys, 4.

'I go to school events and recitals and all that stuff,' reveals Michael to the Daily Express.

'I pick them up after school. I love it. It keeps me out of trouble. We spend a lot of time together as a family unit.'
