David and Victoria Beckham flew back to LA last night after David’s dad insisted he’s on the mend.
The Beckhams dashed to the UK after Ted, 59, suffered a near-fatal heart attack on Wednesday night when his heart stopped beating for 4 minutes.
But he's now said to be making a good recovery in London’s Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green with his family by his side - and hopes to leave in a few days.
‘Ted has made a dramatic improvement,’ a hospital source tells The Sun.
‘David wanted to stay but Ted assured him he would be OK.’
The footy ace, 32, jetted back to the states from Heathrow airport with his wife Victoria, 33, after spending the weekend at his dad's bedside.
