Victoria Beckham rushes to David’s side

Posh flies back from Japan to see father-in-law

Victoria Beckham is on her way back to the UK from the Far East to be by David’s side after hearing the shocking news of his dad’s heart attack.

The Spice Girl, 33, had been promoting her DVB range of jeans in Japan but jumped on the first plane to London to be with Becks and his family.

‘Victoria has cancelled her work commitments to fly home,' says a spokesman.

Ted was rushed to Whipps Cross hospital on Wednesday night but later transferred to a specialist unit in the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green. He is now reported to be in a stable condition.

David, 32, flew into Heathrow airport yesterday afternoon looking very upset but had no comment to make to journalists.
