Actor says Ange is an amazing mum

Ange has her hands full as she takes Maddox to school in New York

Brad Pitt has revealed that becoming a dad was the best thing he’s ever done – and says Angelina Jolie is an amazing mum.

The actor – who is father to Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1, with the actress – appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America show and said he felt blessed to have become a parent.

'It's the greatest thing I've ever taken on,’ he says.

‘The most rewarding and the most fun. I think this is the greatest thing I could possibly achieve, and hats off to all the parents out there.'

But the 43-year-old says he couldn’t have done it without Ange, 32, and feels lucky that she's mum to his children.

‘One of the things I’m most happy about for my kids is that they have a mother, I think,' he says, 'because she’s amazing.’
