Amy Winehouse: I want to crack America

Singer wants to go back to States to really launch her music career

Amy Winehouse has revealed that she wants to go back to the US to launch her music career there in a big way.

‘I just love the States,’ she says.

‘There’s so much going on there and I will definitely have a crack at America again. I want to be back there later this year.’

But the star, 24, says right now she’s more than happy taking it easy with hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, 25 – and is enjoying a slow recovery from all her recent troubles.

‘I’m just loving looking after myself and being home,’ she tells the Daily Star.

‘[Blake] stands by me, I stand by him. We’re happy as we are.’
