Lindsay Lohan: I'll quit Hollywood to get clean

Reformed actress prepared to give up career to avoid drugs, says dad

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is willing to give up her movie career to ensure she keeps away from drugs.

The Mean Girls star has told her dad that she's determined to quit her party lifestyle.

'She said she does not want to live in Hollywood as that is where this evil in her life happens,' Michael Lohan reveals. 'She said, "'I hate Hollywood and i don't want to work there".'

Lindsay, 21, and her father were recently reunited after being estranged for 3 years. He visited her in Utah where she is currently in rehab and she sobbed in his arms.

'Lindsay said, "'Daddy, I have done some terrible things and been addicted to drugs but please believe me, I will never do drugs again",' says Michael.

The Mean Girls actress is staying in the Cirque Lodge rehab centre where residents help with household chores and other odd-jobs.

'She has taken up gardening and loved showing me the roses she looks after,' Michael tells the News Of The World.

'These are things normal people take for granted, but things Lindsay has not done for a long time because she's been wasted on drugs.

'I have seriously not seen her this happy in years.'
