At The Emmy Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA on Sunday, Katherine Heigl was left speechless on stage.
The Grey’s Anatomy actress, 28, won Best Supporting Actress In A Drama – but was lost for words and admitted even her mum didn’t think she'd triumph.
‘My own mother said I didn't have a shot in hell of winning tonight,’ she said onstage, ‘so I don't have anything prepared.’
Other winners included Ugly Betty's America Ferrera, 23, Best Actress In A Comedy; Ricky Gervais, 46, Best Actor In Comedy Series and Dame Helen Mirren, 62, Best Actress In A Dramatic Series.
The Sopranos was voted Best Dramatic Series but Boston Legal's James Spader stole Best Actor away from James Gandolfini.
Kanye West and Christina Aguilera performed for the celebrity audience.
