Dizzee Rascal: Pete Doherty has a good heart

Rap star says he's never seen Babyshambles frontman sober but doesn't care

Dizzee Rascal has revealed that he’s never seen Pete Doherty sober.

The rap star – who is due to tour with Pete’s band Babyshambles in November – says the 28-year-old is always tanked up.

‘Pete’s high a lot,’ Dizzee tells the Daily Mirror, ‘I ain’t ever seen him sober.’

But it doesn’t seem to bother the 21-year-old – and he’s full of praise for the troubled musician.

‘He’s got a good heart though, and he’s genuine. People who are that genuine and nice, let ‘em get on with their ting.’
