Angelina Jolies enrols Maddox in fancy private school

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have enrolled their eldest child Maddox at the prestigious Lycée Français de New York.

The fancy school, sited on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is rumoured to cost $18,000 [£9,000] a year.

Lessons are taught in French and the establishment follows the classical French educational system, with small classes to help develop creativity.

Maddox was adopted from Cambodia, a former French colony, where French is widely spoken and was once 'la langue de rigueur'.

The lucky 6-year-old will be served delicious meals at lunch-time. On his first day, Maddox enjoyed fresh cod served with steamed broccoli and couscous, reports TMZ.com.
