Sugababe's boyfriend cleared of involvement in sex attack

Amelle Berrabah’s fella cleared

Amelle Berrabah’s boyfriend Fred Fuller has been cleared of involvement in a sexual assault.

And the Sugababe - who has been seeing Fred again after dumping him for good - is relieved the ordeal is over.

‘I'm thrilled,’ 23-year-old Amelle tells the Daily Mirror. ‘There have been a lot of lies made up about that and he needs an apology.

‘His name should not have been mentioned in that context. We are very happy together.’

Fred, 24, was arrested in February with 3 other men for allegedly being involved in raping Amelle's sister Samiya, 20, on a travellers' site in Ash, Surrey.

‘The case never went to court and due to lack of evidence no charges have been made,’ a Surrey police spokesperson says.

‘A number of men including Mr Fuller were brought into the station on a number of occasions to be questioned and bailed each time.

‘They were last questioned on Sunday, at which point they were all released without charge.’
