Geordie’s Ant and Dec need translator for US show

Comedy duo feared Stateside audiences wouldn’t understand them

Ant and Dec

Ant and Dec had a ‘translator’ for their new US TV show – so that the audience could understand their Geordie lingo.

ABC bosses feared Americans wouldn't understand their accents - so they were given a bit of help.

‘Anything they didn't get, they pressed a button,’ Dec tells the Daily Mirror.

Ant and Dec, both 31, make fun of the American way of life in Wanna Bet – and it turns out the US audience like them just as much as we do.
