Thierry Henry gets quickie divorce

But he faces battle to see daughter and keep his fortune

Thierry Henry was granted a quickie divorce yesterday at the High Court's Family Division in central London.

But his ex wife could still net £10m of his £25m fortune and he faces a battle to see his 2-year-old daughter Tea.

The footie ace, 30, walked out on model Claire Merry, 27, in June after 4 years of marriage.

The divorce will be rubber-stamped in 6 weeks once a financial settlement and arrangements for access to Tea have been agreed.

The soccer star is thought to want his daughter to visit him in Barcelona, where he's now based.

'Thierry is committed to spending most of his time in Spain,' a source tells the Sun.

'He wants her to be allowed to go to him sometimes. But Claire is opposed to that. She doesn't think Tea is old enough to be away from her for days at a time.'
