Simon Cowell accepts fan's marriage proposal

He made dying Susannah O'Cansey's dream come true

Simon Cowell agreed to marry a teenage fan - weeks before she died.

Susannah O'Cansey, 18 – who suffered from Devics syndrome, which is similar to MS - met the X Factor judge, 47, when he visited CHASE children's hospice in Artington, Surrey.

She also appeared on his This Is Your Life show - where she cheekily proposed.

When Simon heard her conditioned had worsened, her rang the hospital to accept the proposal – on condition she got well.

‘He was wonderful,’ her mum Agatha, 51, tells the People. ‘He made Susannah's dream come true.

‘Simon was so kind. He called her even when she was in intensive care and barely conscious. I'm sure she knew.’
