Hell’s Kitchen chef is used to raised voices
Monday, 17 September 2007
Hell’s Kitchen chef Marco Pierre White loves it when people shout at him.
The 45-year-old - famous for once making Gordon Ramsay cry - has a terrifying reputation but he doesn’t mind it the other way around.
‘I like to be with people who shout at me,’ he says.
‘I’ve been shouted at all my life. If it wasn’t my father, then it was my head chef, and then it was all the other head chefs.’
And he doesn’t just enjoy being bellowed at when he’s at work either.
‘If it wasn’t them shouting at me, then it was Mati [his estranged wife],’ he tells Hello!
‘I would be lost if no one was shouting at me.’
