Samuel Preston: I moved to Philadelphia to avoid breakdown

He thought break-up with Chantelle Houghton was turning him into a ‘weirdo’

Samuel Preston has opened up about his break-up with Chantelle Houghton – saying he's moved to Philadelphia in the US to avoid a nervous breakdown.

The singer, 25, and Celeb BB winner, 23, split in June.

Preston says he left Brighton and moved to the States to get away from it all.

‘The whole divorce thing was making me sad and I think I was in danger of turning into a weirdo,’ Preston writes on his MySpace blog, reports the News Of The World.

‘I moved to Philadelphia…I pre-empted a breakdown that was building in my brain.’

Umm, not sure how uprooting from Sussex to Pennsylvania helps but if Preston feels peaceful there, that's good.
