Madonna and Guy Ritchie must show they're a great mum and dad

The Ritchies get read for social worker's visit

Madonna and Guy Ritchie

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are preparing for the arrival of the social worker who will assess whether they can keep adopted son David Banda.

Malawi child welfare chief Penstone Kilembe will spend 2 weeks investigating whether the couple are good carers for the 22-month-old little boy.

‘They're on tenterhooks waiting for this man to arrive in the UK, a pal says.

‘Things haven't been great in their marriage recently but they're determined to put on a good show for him.’

During the inspection, Madonna, 49, and Guy, 38, will be quizzed on subjects such as alcohol consumption, infertility and divorce.

‘They're determined to come across as a perfect little family unit,’ the source tells the News Of The World.

Madonna is also mum to daughter Lourdes, 10, and her son with Guy, Rocco, 7.
