David Schwimmer's no big girl's blouse

He ‘jumps rope’, he doesn't skip

David Schwimmer reveals that - like most burly men he knows - he ‘jumps rope' – otherwise known as, ahem, skipping.

The Friends star, 40, says he likes keeping fit with every little girls’ favourite pastime.

But he refuses to refer to his hobby as ‘skipping', preferring for the more manly term of ‘jumping rope’.

‘I jump rope,’ he tells Eve magazine. ‘We don’t call it “skipping” in the States. That’s not manly. We say “jumping rope”. You know, boxers jump rope?’
