Lindsay Lohan to reunite with jailbird dad

She’ll meet estranged father Michael Lohan in rehab

Proof that she’s moving on - Lindsay Lohan has agreed to let her estranged dad visit her in rehab.

The actress, 21, hasn't seen her jailbird father Michael for several years.

But as part of her rehabilitation program, she’s decided to make amends with him.

‘It was actually her older brother, Michael's, idea,’ a source tells the New York Post.

‘It's a part of the healing process. Lindsay will see him later this week, but she will have counsellors with her. It will not be alone.’

Lindsay's mother, Dina, had to approve the visit because she has a restraining order placed against ex-husband Michael.

It was put in place when he demonstrated ‘violent behaviour’ towards the family.

Lindsay's rep confirmed a visit has been arranged.
