Ronnie Wood: I convinced Kate Moss to dump Pete Doherty

Rolling Stone encouraged her to show junkie singer the door

Rolling Stone guitarist Ronnie Wood has revealed that he was responsible for convincing pal Kate Moss to dump junkie Pete Doherty.

'Well, he wasn't exactly very good for her, was he?' Ronnie, 60, tells the Daily Mirror.

'I was just encouraging her – saying, "Come on, girl. I'm glad you've got rid of him".'

Kate, 33, got over the split by staying with Ronnie and his family at their Kingston mansion.

Well, someone had to tell her to give him the boot.
