Connie Fisher has slammed The X Factor – saying it gives people hope, then dashes their dreams.

The How To Solve A Problem Like Maria? winner, 24, reckons contestants' expectations are raised too high.

‘I’ve never been a massive fan of The X Factor,’ she tells the Daily Express.

‘It’s humiliation TV. It’s a good old giggle at people who believe they can perform.’

This from the lass who won a, ahem, talent show.
