Amy Winehouse quits rehab

Singer and husband leave treatment centre in helicopter

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil

Troubled Amy Winehouse and hubby Blake Fielder-Civil quit rehab yesterday.

The singer, 23, and her spouse were expected to stay at the £10,000-a-week Causeway addiction therapy centre in Essex for 6 to 8 weeks but left by helicopter after just 5 days.

Amy is reported to have had a brain scan in central London to see if she has a form of epilepsy.

Then she and Blake, 25, returned to their home in Camden, North London before visiting their favourite pub, the Old Eagle.

‘We were praying they wouldn't bail out early,’ Blake's stepdad Giles, 42, tells the Daily Mirror. ‘We don't want them to go back into their vicious cycle.

‘Amy has had five days away from drugs and her self-esteem and confidence is slowly coming back. I hope she and Blake can take control of their lives.’

Now Amy’s worried parents Mitch and Janis are even considering getting her sectioned to force her into getting help for her problems, reports The Sun.
