Amy Winehouse seeks dad’s help
Troubled Amy Winehouse has turned to her dad to help her defeat her demons.
The singer, 23, collapsed last week after an alleged booze and drugs binge – forcing her to pull out of the Rolling Stones’ tour.
Amy’s refused to go to rehab, instead hoping her dad Mitch can help.
‘He sorts me out,’ she says. ‘When I get self-destructive I just need to spend time with my dad. Rehab is a cop-out.’
She spent the weekend at an emergency summit with her family, her new hubby Blake-Fielder-Civil, 25, and his parents Giles and Georgette.
Mitch says Amy is recovering: ‘She’s going to be fine. She knows she’s been through a terrible ordeal and is now on the mend.’
