Father-in-law says she need to tackle demons

They tried to make her go to rehab, and this time Amy Winehouse has said yes, yes, yes.

The troubled singer, 23, finally listened to concerned friends and family after she was rushed to hospital by hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, in the early hours of Wednesday for ‘exhaustion’.

Amy checked into The Priory yesterday. Father-in-law Lance Fielder, 66, has dismissed her record company's explanation of ‘exhaustion’, instead blaming her collapse on booze binges.

‘Blake told me he was very worried about her,’ he tells the Daily Mirror.

‘He admitted they both drank and did drugs, but that came as no surprise.

‘It was bought on by all her excesses. Yes, work is one of them, but there's the drink and drugs too. She's got to get a grip on herself before it's too late.’
