Sarah Jessica Parker: Sex And The City didn't pay well
She was one of the most popular characters on TV, but Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that playing Carrie in Sex And The City wasn't hugely lucrative.
Instead, the 42-year-old actress looked to adverts to boost her bank balance.
'SATC wasn't a big network series so our salaries were never that great,' she admits. 'I started doing adverts and commercial campaigns for financial security.'
With the SATC movie in the pipeline and her own perfume and fashion labels, we're sure Sarah won't have to sign on any time soon.
