Mel B's secret wedding

She weds Stephen Belafonte in Vegas

Mel B has married boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in a Las Vegas chapel. The couple tied the knot two months ago, on 6 June, while holidaying in the US state.

‘Stephen and I have known each other for seven years. We wanted to make a commitment,’ Mel, 32, tells The Sun.

‘We wanted it to be private and have a big wedding with our families later in the year.’

The ceremony was at the ‘drive-thru’ Special Memory Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas strip and cost just $59 (£29).

‘They made no big deal of it. I don’t think she had a wedding dress,’ Rev Marie Stapleton, who officiated, says.
