Claire Henry: I'll take Thierry to the cleaners

Footballer's wife wants massive divorce payout

The wife of football ace Thierry Henry has vowed to bleed him dry in a bitter divorce battle.

Claire, 27, who has a two-year-old daughter with Thierry, is demanding a whopping £10 million from the ex-Arsenal player, who walked out on her in June.

'She's angry and is talking about taking him to the cleaners,' a source tells The Sun. 'She'll do anything to protect her daughter's future.'

The model has hired top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who also represents Sir Paul McCartney, to act for her against the Barcelona player.

France-born Thierry, who's worth £25 million and earns £130,000 a week from the Spanish club, is being represented by Mishcon de Reya – ironically, the firm Heather Mills hired.

The couple, who married in 2003, split after rowing over messages Claire found on his mobile phone. When she confronted him, the footy star told Claire he was leaving.

It's rumoured Thierry has now struck up a friendship with Spanish actress Paz Vega, 31, who he met when they shot a Reebok commercial together.
