Dita Von Teese: I want a man who respects my career

After Marilyn Manson, she'd like a guy who supports her burlesque dream

After splitting with hubbie Marilyn Manson, the newly-single Dita Von Teese is after a fella who supports her career as a burlesque dancer.

The 34-year-old reveals she felt stifled being married to the goth rocker and wants a partner who supports her dreams and ambitions.

‘When I was married I was asked to give up everything I do so I could be taken care of and I thought no, that is where you get control,’ she tells The Independent Magazine.

‘I’ve been working a long time towards this goal and for someone to ask you to give it up doesn’t make sense to me. Why would someone want to give up your dream?’
