After months of speculation, Nicole Richie has confirmed she’s having a baby.
The Simple Life star, 25, is expecting her first child with Good Charlotte boyfriend Joel Madden, 28.
‘I'm almost four months,’ she told Good Morning America host Diane Sawyer.
But pregnant Nicole still faces a 4-day stint in jail for a DUI offence.
‘I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong,' she accepts. 'If I could personally apologise to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would.
‘Unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.’
