Pete Doherty: Kate Moss is off cocaine

But he says his addiction has cost him the love of his life

Pete Doherty has revealed that Kate Moss no longer uses cocaine – because she fears that social workers could take away 4-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

‘Drugs are a big no-no for her now. All she wants is to be a good mum to her kid,’ he says.

Snaps of Kate, 33, allegedly using the class A drug came out in 2005 – and now her ex-fella says the media intrusion forced her to kick the habit.

‘The last drugs we did together was the coke in the recording studio when you filmed us,’ says the 28-year-old.

‘After that, she went into rehab in Arizona and came out a different woman.’

But the Babyshambles singer claims that Kate still enjoys the occasional spliff.

‘Kate was determined to sort her life out and has done,' says Pete. 'She doesn't mind the odd spliff but won't go back down the route of the hard stuff. And she certainly won't let me do drugs in her house.’

And Pete realises his drug habit has ruined their relationship.

‘She was driven and tried to help me out,’ he tells the Daily Mirror. ‘Her dream was for us to be a normal, happy couple like any other.

‘I guess my drug problem has destroyed that. You don't know how much you've lost until it's gone. I've been a bit of an idiot.’
